tootie-toot's toothie ith out

Poor tootie-toot, look at the size of her tooth. It looks fake, but it is real. It may look like she came down to our house to have it out, but she went to her favorite dds in waterford and stopped here to change her gauze. She is numb now, but just wait till later. Guess we better be praying for quick healing for her too (how is Lori?). AND while we are at it we should pray for Ron too. Good thing Sue left her purple complaining bracelet at home. Happy sailing family! Love ya

New boatseat covers!

Hey check it out! New boatseat protectors. Sally helped do all the figuring yardage, shopping for the best deals, (it's a long story but we got 50% off the marine vinyl at Joanne fabrics in Novi) and then making the pattern and cutting, sewing. . .my little sewing maching worked like a gem! Canvas straps, and snaps!!! Man o man. Many hours later and hey,.. . .they look pretty good, (from a distance). You could take a close look if you wear glasses and leave them at home. And .. . NO! I am not going into the business. I have already had one offer, I could easily refuse! Thanks Sally, without you I couldn't have done it! Maybe tomorrow we will have time for a boatride. Love ya.

Great day, great family

We sure had a wonderful day in GR.  It was so nice to be together.  Aunt Beverly, son Jerry (wife, Joyce, daughter Marsha (husband Harry), and daughter Patti came too.  The grave side service was very nice too.  Pastor Gary read Bible passages, we sang two hymns, and Sally wrote a great piece about our parents and growing up.  The sun was out in-between gentle rain.  We drove past dad's neighborhood, then came back to Jim and Shawn's for food and fun.  The Grantners enjoyed looking at pictures and listening to our stories.  Sue wrote a great letter and presented Aunt Beverly with a great charcoal sketch of dad from 1960's (remember, it used to hang over the organ?) It was a great day, wish you were here.  Tonight we are having a pajama party with pizza and Jim's new camping expresso.  You would love to see this new gadget!  We're watching Tiger baseball now, (they are winning!!)  and looking at more pictures!  Hope to hear from you all soon!!
